2020 i'm thinking of going smaller wargame wise..and this blog gets a little confused between Postapocalypic and fantasy rangers.. and sci-fi fun tropes so be warned..
Generally i'm just dipping a toe into 15mm scale with 2 new games and see where i go .. and re skinning to satisfy my tv trope fetish..
why
1 super cute tiny models
2 space saver
3 less intimidating to newbies?
4 less table space..
5 family room space
6 less precious brake able models?
7 shorter easier to paint less details .. especially with contrast?
8 cheaper
Games I think I might play
1: Rangers of shadow deep - solo coop skirmish wargame adventure
2: Zona Alfa - post apocalyptic with popup hot spots based on roadside picnic book based on stalker video game.. (local group is picking this up)
3:Skyrim call to arms - solo aimed at 32 mm but since im going small with rangers this should fit im interested in stealth mechanic
but with all games .. if you have imagination goggles. a rifle can be a bow.. radiation can be magic mutants are ghouls. etc.. swapsies counts as.. proxies rules mish mash or Zona Trek and Away team of shadow deep

Who plays 15mm games? luckly locally a few players picking up Zona Alfa,
Solo wise i don't need 15mm for Rangers of shadow deep, ive plenty of 28mm 32mm but seems like a neat project if i played solo so other players dont matter
Micro Starwars legion use all my full size cards and tokens but play at family's with out filling the car out with terrain and models
Generic things i'd need
My Team 1 Leader 5 grunts 5 various weapons others to be vets and specialists
Vermin something swarmy .. rats worms spiders would work for ROSD and ZA
Bandits rag tag humans/aliens various weapons orc, gnolls, robots, mutants similar to "my team" but
baddies a few levels of baddies..

ZA 1st level Scavenger 2nd level Bandits 3rd enemy mercs
Undeads, ghouls zombies skeletons just like bandits maybe a few different types needed 1st 2nd 3rd
these might get some fantasy cross over, zombies are zombies,, sometimes can not tell what era they are from..ghouls.. tyranids, something fast and bitey
then generic goodies and baddies i need to think of the style i want to play following is a lot of miniatures i'd like to find proxies for
Dr Who models a Dr, a few companions, a few monsters,
Star trek an away team a few Gorns, classic and next gen please
Star Wars.. a more epic size legion.. tiny storm troopers and rebels a few heros, and maybe a AT-AT some x-wings, things that dont quite fit in Legion but should of been there..
Tv series crews.. Aliens crew Riply please! , The Aliens, Firefly, robo cop, Ed209, Mad Max
all the tropes! Robin hood gang and sheriff guards..a big list of wants and more i keep think off
I'm open to stay sci-fi and play flash Gorden type style where fantasy and ray guns go hand in hand .. Bows and blasters.

Alien Mercs level 2 baddies? These had a head swop options the lizard head looks quite Gorn one head looks quite gas-mask like and the demon is just cool, so mutant bandits or friendly alien backup

Ok Katnis new scenario time protect the media team.. you must engage hostiles and have the team film you triumphant the closer the images the better!
so you get in a fight the media team gets close and rolls to hit you for a good shot!
get 3-4 shots and evac
at least 1 media person must survive
the End for now.. enougth to dip in.. and try painting some small minis
